Denying access to public documents is something that happened in 1930's Germany when Hitler siezed power! Is this the beginning of a censoring of news? If nothing to hide, feleasemthe valid birth certificate! I understand that to obtain a Hawaii birth certificate it only requires a grandparent to certify that a birth occurred! If so, this doesn't mean Hussein was born in Hawaii-just means thatgrandparents Dunham stated this was so! The true facts need to be disclosed! Is this the start of supression of information like in Nazi Germany?

You're right -- you can't beat Hank and Patsy and Woody when it comes to country. But I also think there's a lot of merit to contemporary country artists like Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert and so on. You just have to weed out the corn.

As some people may have noticed, Fraizer has created a note on Facebook claiming "slander" regarding this article. Something should be made very clear to Mr. Fraizer, simply the fact that he was apparently not contacted as a source for this article does not mean that there has been any wrongdoing. He loves to cite legal terms (incorrectly, I might add), such as slander or libel. However, we can clear that up pretty easily. Slander is defamation of the spoken form, which doesn't apply since this article is written. Libel is only commited when something is written with actual malice and malicious intent. Actually, Fraizer should know this because last week he very rudely interrupted my Constitutional Law class during the middle of a discussion and asked our teacher whether or not this article constitutes as libel. My professor quickly told him that it is not libel, and to never interrupt his class again. Whether or not Fraizer's "Shake the Quake" inititative is legitimate or not is something that I do not know and I will not assert an opinion on that issue. I will, though, indicate that Mark Fraizer's credibility has been severely tarnished in my book due to his lack of professionalism, wrongful accusations, and on a personal level, overall demeanor and combative nature. I encourage everyone to donate to the relief efforts. I encourage donating DIRECTLY to a reputable organization. One more point... if Mr. Fraizer had signed up for and taken the class that he barged in on, then he would have learned a lot about the U.S. Constitution and the rights of the people that it protects. Freedom of the press is right there in Amendment One. Keep up the good work T&C, and keep tackling the tough issues Mr. Hague.

Coupled with the article about the lack of proper fire sprinkler systems in some dorm rooms, I'd say next year is shaping up to be quite a survival experience indeed.

I do hope this all can be worked out. It is so expensive to attend college and housing in a safe environment that is affordable is very important. To add extra financial pressure on students will decrease their grades and cause other students to choose another college or university related to costs and safe housing options.
