Tonight the team easily glided past Heidelberg 78-66 with three players putting up double-digit scores.
For the second game in a row, senior Shea McCoy was the high-scorer for the team, with 24 points, going three for four in three pointers.
Senior Kristi Kotterman had another good game as well with 12 points and nine rebounds, and junior Hannah Day came off the bench with 10 points and seven rebounds of her own.
The game-high scorer belonged to Heidelberg, though. Sophomore Kathleen Phillips had 29 points for the Student Princes.
The Lady Cardinals saw success earlier in the week too. Junior Chelsea Cannon was named OAC Player of the Week for the first time in her career on Monday. Cannon averaged 19 points and seven rebounds last week between the Muskingum and Capital games.
This win gives Otterbein an 18-6 record overall, 12-5 in the OAC, while Heidelberg falls to 4-20, 1-16 in the OAC and an 11 game losing streak.
Heidelberg travels to Alliance, OH to play Mount Union this weekend for their last game of regular season play at 3 p.m. Otterbein plays in Wilmington at the same time.
