A decent size crowd filled in the seats at the Westerville City Council meeting Tuesday evening, as the hot button topic involved the support of the Westerville City Schools levy.
This week’s animal complaints have yet again topped the list of phone calls to the Westerville Police Department; alongside suspicious persons, suspicious vehicles, and non-injury accidents.
Accidents at State and Shrock are twice the state average. A proposal was presented to council members about a project that would help to clear up traffic and reduce accidents. The project would also help to make the area more pedestrian friendly.
“I Heart Westerville Schools” is the newest trademark to promote the March 6th levy proposal impacting Westerville City Schools.
The campaign, from pro-levy group Our Community, Our Schools, is promoting the five-year, $6.9 million issue.
The Westerville City Council discussed and voted on the pay grades and ranges for municipal employees. This includes Westerville city manager Dave Collinsworth.
