Students, faculty, and people of the community that were in attendance were able to sign a quilt panel Otterbein is contributing to the World AIDS Quilt.
If anyone wishes to sign it, the panel is located in the Courtright Memorial Library.
Senior Bradley Carroll helped organize the AIDS World Day event on campus. He also read a list of names of AIDS victims to honor and celebrate their lives.
Tyler Termeer, president of the Ohio AIDS Coalition and Otterbein alumus, spoke about his experience with working with people who are effected by AIDS.
Dr. Wendy Johnston, professor of the Senior Year Experience course, The Face of AIDS, begin the candle light vigil with a short speech, thanking everyone for attending.
On Thursday, December 1, a SYE course hosted a candlelight vigil before speeches were held in the library. Inside the library, there are 10 panels from the The AIDS Memorial Quilt.
